Terms of Service

Clipcore (“Clipcore”, “we”) provides a web application at clipcores.com that lets you extract short clips from publicly accessible video URLs you supply, generate AI subtitles, translate them, and export the result. These Terms form a binding contract between you and Clipcore.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

By using Clipcore, you confirm that you own the videos you submit or have the legal rights to create and distribute clips from them. Each clipping job requires you to tick the rights confirmation checkbox.

Clipcore is a video editing and creator-assistance tool. It is not an autonomous content-republishing system. The AI Highlights feature suggests potential moments; you review, approve, and choose what to render and where to publish.

You agree not to use Clipcore to:

• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or publicity rights.
• Process material that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit involving minors.
• Bypass paywalls, DRM, or the platform terms-of-service of the source video.
• Resell raw downloaded video files without adding substantial original creative work.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.

We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these rules without notice. You — not Clipcore — are solely responsible for content you process.

You retain all rights to the clips, subtitles, and translations you create with Clipcore. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transcode, transcribe, translate, and serve those files solely to operate the service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

Plans are billed via Stripe in GBP:

• Monthly — £8 / month
• Quarterly — £16 / 3 months (≈ £5.33 / month)
• Yearly — £48 / year (£4 / month — best value)

Prices are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. To cancel, log in to Stripe's customer portal (the link is in your receipt email) or email support@clipcores.com.

UK / EU 14-day cooling-off period. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU and have not yet used the service, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription and receive a full refund under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Once you have used the service (rendered a clip, generated subtitles, or run an AI Highlights job), you expressly consent to the digital service being supplied during the cooling-off period and acknowledge that your right to cancel and receive a full refund is lost.

After the cooling-off period, you can cancel at any time to stop future auto-renewal charges. Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current paid period — we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time.

To request a refund, email support@clipcores.com. We honour all statutory rights regardless of these Terms.

We aim for high uptime but make no specific guarantee. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security incidents, or matters outside our reasonable control. Some source platforms (YouTube, etc.) may rate-limit or block our infrastructure; if a source cannot be downloaded, the corresponding job will fail — this is not a refundable defect.

Clipcore is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, or data.

If you are a rights holder and believe content is being processed through Clipcore in violation of your rights, send a notice to support@clipcores.com with the subject line [DMCA] and include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (URL or job ID).
• Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We respond within 7 business days. Repeat infringer accounts will be terminated.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which permanently removes your personal data and clips within 30 days (see Privacy Policy). We may terminate your account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, in which case no refund is due.

We may update these Terms. We'll change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes affecting your rights or pricing, email registered users at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If you don't accept a change, cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, unless you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK or EU, in which case you may bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
